WVOX Metal Mayhem hosts Matthew O'Shaughnessy and Tony Gizzo unleash Gordon G.G. Gebert and Alex Barbieri live on their New York radio show this Friday, October 18th at 7:30 PM, EST on WVOX.com worldwide and 1460 AM.
Keyboardist and best-selling author Gordon G.G. Gebert penned the smash hit books KISS & Tell and Rock And Roll War Stories. Gebert has also worked with ACE FREHLEY, ANGEL, MARTY BALIN, and more.
What it’s like to be best friends with a rock and roll legend? Having the dubious distinction of being a member of the KISS inner circle, Gebert has been asked that question more times than he can remember, which is why he wrote KISS & Tell, an expose of the hidden reality of some of rock and roll's most excessive characters. Gebert is currently working on A Wing and a Prayer with Angel and KISS Stalker Unmasked.
For more than 20 years, Alex Barbieri has been a singer and frontman in various rock bands. His lead vocals are featured on the critically-acclaimed TANGO DOWN album Damage Control. Barbieri has performed live at Rocklahoma, Dakota Rock Fest, and opened for many of his rock heroes, including Don Dokken, Phil Lewis of L.A. GUNS, Stephen Pearcy of RATT and James Christian of HOUSE OF LORDS.
Barbieri and Gebert have teamed up and become fast friends in the band 1 WILD NIGHT, a tribute to BON JOVI featuring some of the New York area’s most talented and accomplished musicians.
