Italian folk metal band KRAMPUS have announced that their drummer, Carlo Andrian, has left the band. Carlo was recently struck by lightning and will not be able to play the drums any time soon. The name of a new drummer will be announced soon.

Comments the band: "With one laughing and one crying eye we have to announce that our drummer Carlo has left Krampus effective immediately. He has, in fact, been struck by lightning and considers himself lucky to not have gotten hurt worse. He is OK, but will not be able to play the drums for some time to come. Carlo is a great friend of ours and we would like to thank him for the great effort and dedication he has had for the band. We wish him good and full recovery and all the best for his future endeavours. The good news is that we are already working on a replacement, and will have exciting news to announce sooner rather than later. One hint for now: He's a very talented musician, and you have most likely already heard of him with his current band!"

Krampus released the album, Survival Of The Fittest, in August. From October 19th on, the band will be on the Heidenfest tour with WINTERSUN, KORPIKLAANI , VARG, and TROLLFEST.
