Lagao Burning Live Festival - SIEGES EVEN Cancel Appearance

German progressive metallers SIEGES EVEN have issued the following statement in regards to their scheduled appearance at this year's Lagao Burning Live Festival:
"Unfortunately, we (amongst other artists) were forced to cancel our participation at this year's Lagoa Burning Festival in Portugal. The local promoter (failed) to make all agreed deposit payments, flight bookings and to sign and return contracts."The festival is set to take place July 25th - 27th at Estombar-parque de Ferias in Algarve, Portugal.
Acts confirmed for the event now include: OPETH, OBITUARY, EVERGREY, GORGOROTH, FIREWIND, GRAVE DIGGER, THRESHOLD, KORPIKLAANI, LEAVES' EYES, DISCHARGE, TANKARD, CRUACHAN, ONSLAUGHT, THE OLD DEAD TREE, PITCH BLACK, ROYAL HUNT, DIONYSUS, IRON MASK, HOLOCAUSTO CANIBAL, ASTRA, ANGRIFF, KILLEM, W.A.K.O., ANCESTRAL, THEE ORAKLE, MINDFEEDER, ATTICK DEMONS, IRA REGIA, RATOS DO PORÃO, TARÂNTULA, KALASHNIKOV, RENNO and more.
As previously reported, Sieges Even are set to release the first live album in their career. The CD will be entitled Playgrounds, containing ten songs from the albums A Sense Of Change, The Art Of Navigating By The Stars and Paramount. Recorded during Part I of the Paramount tour 2007/2008, Playgrounds will hit the stores by the end of July via Inside Out Music.
