LAMB OF GOD regret to inform their fans in Ecuador that they will not be able to perform at tonight's (October 1st) Quito Fest. The band were at the airport last night when their flight, and all flights, to Ecuador were canceled due to the attempt to overthrow the Ecuadorian government.
According to a band statement, "Lamb of God hopes the unrest will come to a quick end and would like to assure their fans that they will be back!"
The Ecuador cancellation follows the Lamb Of God's axed performance in Monterrey on October 6th.
A band statement read: "While the band was anxiously looking forward to play for their fans in Monterrey, the promoter Rock Amerika did not fulfill their obligations in regards to the band’s fee, travel, or production logistics. Therefore, the band did not feel the show would be presented in a professional way for the band’s performance or for their fans. The band apologizes to all of the people that purchased tickets to the show and promises to return in the future to play. The show in Mexico City on October 5th will go on as scheduled."
