According to Jason Gregory from Gigwise.com, LED ZEPPELIN wouldn’t have reunited for their one-off show at the O2 Arena next Monday (December 10th) had it not been for the family connection of Jason Bonham, admits frontman Robert Plant.

Jason Bonham will take the place of his father, John, the band’s original drummer, who died in 1980 for Monday's spectacle.

"I've know the Bonham family since I was 15 and I know Pat, John's widow. I've know Jason since he was born," Plant told The Sun. I've spent so much time talking to Jason over the years. He's such a good guy and I've got very close.

“Jason's such a great drummer and he's now in his reformation character," he added.

Over 1 million people applied for just 20,000 tickets to see the band reunite next week.
