LITTLE CAESAR vocalist Ron Young recently provided BraveWords.com with an exclusive update, stating that the band's fifth full length album will be titled American Dream. There will 11 new tracks and they are working with Bruce Witkin, Ryan Dorn and Carlos 'Apple G' Orellana in a co-production effort with the band.

Young checked in again today (April 9th) with another exclusive round-up. Reports for Days 1- 3 are below:

Day One: "We got some great drum sounds and 2 basic tracks cut last night... Hoping for a marathon productive day."

Day Two: "Got six more drum tracks laid down. Loving the drum sounds and Tom is smoking through them. We have three more to lay down and then we are on to bass overdubs. Tom is playing so hard he has a big contusion on his thigh from every time he hits his snare drum, he bashes his leg. Now that's rock n roll! We love Unison studios. We feel so at home. Bruce Witkin is a great producer...really chill guy who gets great sounds really quick so we keep the energy level up and have fun tracking. There are dogs wandering around and friends and family dropping by....really relaxed atmosphere."

Day Three: "Finished the drum tracks!... they sound great!! It's always so hard to get a powerful natural sound on drums. A lot of bands and producers agonize over them. I bought Tom a 1964 Ludwig acrolight snare just before we went into the studio. We used it on the whole record. Bruce got a great sound really quick. We also got two bass overdubs finished. Bruce also got a really great sound on it.... it helps when you are playing through a vintage SVT head from the 70's. Fidel breaks it out for the recording studio. He has had it for years... it feels like it weighs a 100lbs.... that's probably why we don't take it on the road. Overall, a really great day. Beautiful weather and we had friends and family drop by for a deliciously decadent, yet warm Easter Sunday... sat around poolside... life is too damn good!"

American Dream is scheduled to be released mid to late May and will be available on iTunes, with hard copies be available on LittleCaesar.net.
