MACHINE HEAD - Making The New Album: Part 1 (Video)
January 18, 2022, 2 years ago
Back in June 2021, Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn and bassist Jared MacEachern went into the studio to demo some new ideas for the band's next album. With not a whole lot to track things were off to a slow start, but eventually ideas started to flow. Watch the multi-part journey of Machine Head's as-yet-untitled 10th album. Part 1 is available below.
Flynn and MacEachern said goodbye to 2021 and welcomed in 2022 with a killer set choc full of Machine Head classics, deep cuts, covers, crazy hats and glasses and boozy banter on the New Year's Eve 2021 edition of their Electric Happy Hour
Watch the boyz jam through an awesome cover of Anthrax's "I Am The Law" in honor of Scott Ian's birthday, and they blow the dust off ultra deep cuts "Devil With The King's Card" and "Exhale The Vile" in crushingly heavy fashion. "Ten Ton Hammer" makes a predictably pummeling return to the Electric Happy Hour setlist, along with show openers "Bulldozer" and "Killers And Kings".
