Magic Circle Festival 2008 to Host Authentic Viking Ceremony

The Magic Circle Festival 2008 will be held in Germany's Bad Arolsen, July 10th - 12th, and will feature bands such as MANOWAR, WHITESNAKE, ALICE COOPER, DEF LEPPARD, TED NUGENT, GOTTHARD, DORO, W.A.S.P., BRAZEN ABBOT with JOE LYNN TURNER and many others.

"Authentic modern Vikings from Sweden will take part in an authentic Viking marriage ceremony as part of the ever-growing Magic Circle Festival 2008 in Bad Arolsen, Germany.Utilizing ancient ceremonial rights and the symbol of Thor, the Norse thunder god, the ceremony will be accompanied by the music of Manowar and a special "closing of the circle" by Joey DeMaio.
Heavy metal is a genre of music that recalls an ancient time of battle and feasting. What better way to celebrate this than with an authentic Viking ceremony?"
