MARCO SFOGLI - New Track Mixed By RUSH Engineer RICHARD CHYCKI Available For Streaming

As previously reported, guitarist Marco Sfogli, best known in metal circles for his work on DREAM THEATER vocalist James LaBrie's Elements Of Persuasion album from 2005, released his new solo album There's Hope on February 15th through Lion Music. The track 'Andromeda' is now available for streaming on Sfogli's official MySpace page.
'Andromeda' was mixed by Canadian producer Richard Chycki, who mixed Elements Of Persuasion and the forthcoming RUSH album, Snakes & Arrows Live. In a recent exclusive chat with BW&BK; Chycki offered his thoughts on Sfogli:
"He's a phenomenal guitarist. I really enjoy his cross of musicality and technical prowess. He can rip it up when he needs to but doesn't sound like he's getting paid by the note."Sfogli recently issued the following overview of the 'Andromeda' track: "When I started writing this record my goal was to be as much spontaneous as possible. Wouldn't have been 'my' record without a modern, progressive tune...and there it is! Odd times, crazy runs, absolutely the most difficult and tricky song I recorded so far. Main verse in 11/16..."
