MASSIVE SLAVERY will release their new Video for the song 'Humanity’s Last Hope' at the end November. This song is taken off their debut album Global Enslavement released last summer by Maple Metal Records. This song will also be made available for the Rock Band Video Game.
The video was lensed in their hometown of Rouyn-Noranda in Northern Quebec by Chad Archibald and Philip Carrer of Black Fawn Films, Cambridge, on October 23rd and 24th. Black Fawn Films have shot videos for SWOLLEN MEMBERS, EYES SET TO KILL, ODIUM, ARISE AND RUIN, and many others, plus the upcoming video for Baptized In Blood. You can see their work here.
A spokesman for MMR says the video will be kept much of a surprise until its release, but it was shot on several locations like at a mining gravel pit. Director Chad Archibald says of the shoot: “We got amazing footage up in Rouyn, and the video should turn out to be awesome!”
Jon ‘The ProF’ , frontman for Massive Slavery is quoted as saying: “It was just an insane experience, even if I nearly killed myself on the first scene hahaha. (I fell from a rock stand on a pile of big rocks right on my back and arm. I was bleeding and I'm still in pain right now because of that hahaha). It's brutal, but That’s the way life is !!”
