MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine has issued the following update:

"Droogies!

Now that I have proved that I can do it, it is just a matter of time until Megadeth Radio is back. I had various opportunities approach us in the beginning and many since word got out I was moving on. And even though it ended, seemingly badly, I still had fun with this. That, and it wasn't 'bad.' It was great!

Thanks to all of you that made the extensive threads of all of the corrections, all of the suggestions, and whatever else we all did to try to make it great. I did see the dozens of pages of mistakes that you spotted; trust me I saw them too. The station was great, it just wasn't the 'greatest' and that is the standard I have set for myself.

This also gives me plenty of time to work on our new record, to continue to grow TheLiveLine.com, and most importantly, to take care of myself, so I can take care of business. Please don't get upset with the guys over at the old station, they told me that Clear Channel has computers that are old and don't work well, and that they won't upgrade them for me, or anybody and that was all I needed.

I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and now I can spend that time working on my family, working on the dozens of projects that we have on the burners where there weren't even stoves before. There were also the amazing opportunities to listen so many cool songs by my peers and my contemporaries, and for that I am truly grateful.

I just want to make sure now that I have been able to put some distance in-between me and the project, that you don't think it had anything to do with the guys there. I guess there is some kind of glitch and you know me; I can't do anything unless it is done to the best of my abilities!"
