MEGADETH - "Three Songs Tracked"

MEGADETH is currently working on their 14th studio album, with producer Johnny K (aka John Karkazis). Band leader Dave Mustaine has just issued the following update:
"Three songs tracked and almost done. New Megadeth music is coming to getcha! Merry Christmas everybody."
The new, as yet untitled album is expected in early 2013, via a label to be announced. Megadeth recently parted ways with Roadrunner Records.
As previously reported, Megadeth have been recognized for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, February 10th at the Staples Center. They have been nominated for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance, the complete list of nominees in that category is as follows:
