METALLICA Will "Do Something" To Celebrate 30th Anniversary In 2011

Australia's Video Hits recently interviewed METALLICA's James Hetfield. During the 22-minute video, which can be seen below, the subject of 2011 marking the band's 30th anniversary and subsequent celebrations was discussed.

Hetfield commented, "We've gotta do something; there's no doubt about that. There are quite a few bands that have made it 30 years, but these days, I think it's getting a little harder to survive 30 years. The fact that we made it 30 years is pretty unbelievable."

Metallica will wrap up their 2010 tour with a string of 15 sold out shows in New Zealand and Australia, running October 13th to November 21st.
