METALLICA’s James Hetfield Sells Arizona Land For $1.2 Million US

According to TMZ, Metallica front man James Hetfield has sold the 20 acres of vacant land he owned in Pima County, Arizona for $1.2 million. TMZ says Hetfield struck a deal with the Rosemont Copper Company and the corporation is paying him in straight cash.
Hetfield first bought the sprawling plot of land near the United States border with Mexico in 1998 and the Metallica Scholars Initiative recently donated $100k to Pima Community College.
