Metalmania Festival 2008 - First Details Revealed

The 22nd edition of Metalmania Festival - the biggest metal fest in Central-Eastern Europe - will take place on March 8th, 2008 at Spodek Hall in Katowice, Poland. As usual, there will be two stages where over 20 bands will perform for thousands of metal freaks.
Metalmania Festival has a long and great history. Running for over 20 years, it has become the biggest and the most important metal festival in Poland. Its name is also very well known outside Poland and, every year, it brings more and more foreign visitors.
In March, 2007 Metal Mind Productions released Metalmania 2006 DVD+CD. The DVD includes the best excerpts of charismatic performances by such great metal acts as MOONSPELL, ACID DRINKERS, ANATHEMA, NEVERMORE, VESANIA, 1349, HUNTER and HIERONYMUS BOSCH, among others. The CD includes a preview of other most interesting, if not as popular, acts that performed at the Festival.
The recent edition of the festival, which took place on March 24th, 2007, gathered on one stage such great bands as TESTATMENT, PARADISE LOST, MY DYING BRIDE, ENTOMBED and JORN, to name a few! BLAZE BAYLEY and DARZAMAT's shows were recorded for future DVD releases.
