Trenton, NJ-based heavy metallers Midnite Hellion have announced their new lineup, which includes the addition of singer Brandon Peterson, lead guitarist Gill Barnette, and the return of lead guitarist Mario DiBartolo, joining founder and drummer Drew Rizzo.

“I am extremely excited to be working with the new lineup,” said Rizzo. “They are a powerhouse and have bred new energy into the band. Midnite Hellion had shared the stage with Brandon while he was in his former band, The Devil In God, and what he brings to the fold is incredible. Gill’s inclusion is a no-brainer, as we have wanted to play together for numerous years but it was previously logistically impossible. He is a shredding machine! Having Mario back is like going back home; while he will be involved mainly during his semester break, it’s an extraordinary experience to work with him again. Finally, the Metal Gods have made it possible for us to join forces and bring even more metal to the masses!”

Midnite Hellion is still on the hunt for a permanent bassist. In the meantime, Pat Henry from Swashbuckle will be handling the bottom end. Gill also will be making his live debut later in the summer once he recovers from his recent hand surgery.

The previous lineup, which included singer PJ Berlinghof, guitarists Dan Sclavi and Nick DiGiovacchino, and bassist Bill Dripps, has recently parted ways.

“We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and greatly thank them for their time and dedication during their tenure with the band.”

The new lineup will be making their live debut on Friday, July 11th at The Backstage at Champs in Trenton, NJ, supporting October 31, Rattlehead, and Solace of Requiem. Midnite Hellion will be heading back into the studio over the summer to finish recording their first full-length which is due to be released this year on Witches Brew.
