On January 27th Mike Portnoy (ADRENALINE MOB, ex-DREAM THEATER), Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG), Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (GUNS N' ROSES) and Happenin' Harry got together for a jam session to cap off NAMM 2013, featuring a special appearance by vocalist Russell Allen (Adrenaline Mob, SYMPHONY X).
According to YouTube user Kg30000, who shot and posted the footage, "an awesome night of fun jams...no set list or rehearsals, just great fun! Ron Thal literally walked onstage and asked if anyone had a guitar he could use. Even using borrowed gear, these guys KILLED it! Portnoy slayed some RUSH... on a 3 piece kit! Russ Allen came out and guested on LED ZEPPELIN's 'Lemon Song'. They also did 'Diamonds & Rust', 'Wrathchild', 'Run To The Hills', 'Shyboy' and a bunch of others!"
