Morbid Angel are taking a short break from writing and pre-production - the band have been working at returned singer David Vincent's private studio on new material that will surface later this year. The band and their management are also actively seeking label representation for the anxiously-awaited, as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2003's Heretic. Morbid Angel albums have been released with titles descending in alphabetical order and this trend will likely follow with a title beginning with the letter I. Morbid Angel's current lineup features Vincent, guitarist Trey Azagthoth, drummer Pete Sandoval and recently enlisted touring guitarist Destructhor (aka Thor Anders Myhren) from ZYKLON.
