MÖTLEY CRÜE - Vince Neil No Longer Welcome At Las Vegas' Palms
April 3, 2012, 12 years ago
According to Norm Clarke from Vegas Confidential, in what might be a social media first in Las Vegas, the Palms took the rare step of announcing on Twitter late Monday that the MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman was no longer welcome.
The Palms’ action came a couple hours after Neil launched a Twitter tirade against the Palms against the property, vowing he would “never again set foot” inside the hotel-casino.
Neil indicated the blowup was due to “recent events” and said his anger was being directed at the “executive level.” That apparently meant the Palms new management because he qualified his remarks by saying, “it’s unfortunate because I have great friends @palms and I have a lot of respect for the Maloof family.”
Neil’s outburst came five days after he tweeted about being treated rudely at a Palms restaurant.
The Palms, in its Twitter response, suggested Neil left out some details.
The statement said, “Mr. Neil has recently made negative comments about Palms on Twitter, however, he fails to mention his own actions. As a result of Mr. Neil’s inappropriate behavior, he was asked to leave a restaurant at Palms.”
