MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister talks about the band's new album Motorizer and tour in a recent interview by Pop-Rock Candy Mountain. Read it on their website by clicking on this link here.
Here are a few excerpts from the chat:
PRCM: With this being your 20th album, was it a challenge to find inspiration? How did you keep it fresh?
Kilmister: "Not really, we just do what we always do. We’ve got it down to a fine art now, you know? We know how to do that now."
PRCM: Motorhead has become a brand name over the past few years. How do you choose what you are going to lend your name to?
Kilmister: "Yeah. There’s a lot of shit coming out. There’s a lot of shit, so you have to be careful what has your name on it ’cause it’s going to be there forever."
PRCM: How do you feel about the petition going around the UK to knight you?
Kilmister: "(laughs) That’s fucking stupid. It’s never going to happen. It’s silly, you know? It was just a slow news day."
Motörizer will be released on August 26th in North America, August 29th in Germany and September 1st in the rest of Europe. It was recorded at 606 Studios in Los Angeles, which is owned by Dave Ghrol (NIRVANA, FOO FIGHTERS).
The album features the following tracks: '(Teach You How To) Sing The Blues', 'Time Is Right', 'Heroes', 'Runaround Man', 'English Rose', 'Rock Out', '1000 Names', 'When The Eagle Screams', 'Don't Die Ashamed', 'Back On The Chain', 'Buried Alive'.
