North American Premiere Of "Get Thrashed" Announced

"Get Thrashed: The Story Of Thrash Metal" will make its North American premiere on Sunday, March 11th at 8 PM as part of the 2007 Texas Rock Fest. There will be a free rooftop screening at the Wave in Austin, Texas which is located at 406 E 6th St. After the screening, Austin's finest local metal bands will be performing. As previously reported, Get Thrashed: The Story Of Thrash Metal made it's World Premiere at the 2006 Raindance Film Festival in London on October 3rd.
The film features interviews with METALLICA, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, EXODUS, GODSMACK, HATEBREED, MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, OVERKILL, DEATH ANGEL, SHADOWS FALL, MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, STONE SOUR, SUPERJOINT RITUAL, LAMB OF GOD, VIO-LENCE, KREATOR, SODOM, DESTRUCTION , NUCLEAR ASSAULT, VOIVOD, CHIMAIRA, BIOHAZARD, FOZZY/WWE SUPERSTAR CHRIS JERICHO, SEPULTURA, KITTIE, THE HAUNTED, DRI, SOILWORK, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, HEATHEN, HIRAX, Brian Slagel (Metal Blade Records), Jon and Marsha Zazula (Megaforce Records), Ian Christe ("Sound Of The Beast"), Steven Blush ("American Hardcore"), Eddie Trunk (VH1 Classic) and Ron Quintana (Rampage Radio).
