Distort has announced the addition of Canad's OBEY THE BRAVE to their expanding roster. Obey The Brave will release their debut album, Young Blood, on August 28th in Canada. Further details regarding Young Blood will be announced shortly.

"Distort is known for its quality artists and killer track record here in Canada, but at the end of the day, what really caught our attention was how much the people behind the label genuinely care about their artists,” commented lead vocalist Alex Erian. “We couldn't ask for a better label to represent us in our homeland. We're extremely excited to be part of the Distort family and are looking forward to many years of pure destruction together!"

Originating from Montreal and Ottawa, Obey The Brave is vocalist Alex Erian (ex-DESPISED ICON), bassist Miguel Lepage (ex-BLIND WITNESS), guitarist John Campbell (ex-Blind Witness), guitarist Greg Wood and drummer Stevie Morotti. Fuelled by passion and a strong DIY ethic, Obey The Brave confirmed two dozen Eastern Canadian dates and gained over 14,000 Facebook fans in their first 2 weeks of existence, all without releasing a single song. Armed with two music videos for the singles 'Get Real' and 'Live And Learn' and a few more tricks up its sleeve, the OTB army is gearing up for a killer year.
