US power metallers OMEN have signed with DSN Music for the digital release of their new album, Hammer Damage.

The CD and vinyl editions of the album will be released through Pure Steel Records. A summer 2011 release is expected.

According to a press release, "with songs like the flesh ripping title cut, Hammer Damage and other soon to be classic anthems including 'Epitaph', 'Era of Crisis', 'The Canyon' and 'Knights of the Crimson Cross', founding member guitarist Kenny Powell along with new vocalist Matt Story, long time bassist Andy Haas and veteran touring drummer, Wampa, Omen is poised for a return to the glory days of metal when they were cranking out some of the all time metal war hymns like Battle Cry and Warning of Danger."

Another new song from the band is now streaming. Check out 'The Axeman' at this location.
