Tampa metallers ONLY THE DUST REMAINS guitarist Dana Presson II has announced he has joined THE CONVALESCENCE.

Presson released the following statement:

"Tonight, I have accepted an offer to bring my guitar brutality to The Convalescence from Toledo, OH signed to Enthral Entertainment. The band has been successfully and rigorously touring and begin the next leg of the tour next week which will continue through 2013 in support of their current album, Unmasking The Betrayer. They have shared the stage with ALL SHALL PERISH and many others. I will perform my first show with The Convalescence on September 7th, 2012 in Painesville, Ohio at the start of the second leg of the tour. The band has a busy touring schedule and includes shows with All Shall Perish and Hatebreed. TCON guitarist, Britton, is undergoing surgery and will be in recovery during that time. I will be handling his guitar duties while he is recovering and will remain on with The Convalescence bringing my guitar duties to the group. Please share your love and visit this location.

I will release full details about the engineer and release information. At this time, there are no plans to tour supporting the album as my focus shifts to The Convalescence.
