NEAL SMITH, the original drummer from the ALICE COOPER group, will join host Bill Peters live on his WJCU Metal On Metal radio program, on Friday, October 28TH at 8:30 PM (EST). Smith will discuss his new KillSmith Two solo album, his participation on Alice Cooper's latest Welcome 2 My Nightmare album and the original band's long overdue induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame earlier this year in March.

You can listen to the show live at 88.7 FM in the Cleveland, Ohio area or stream it live worldwide at this location.

"Neal is originally from the Medina, Ohio area where I currently live", says Peters. "He comes back to visit family on occasion and we always try to get together for dinner and drinks. I love hearing his old Alice Cooper stories He has an amazing recollection of those early years. His stories are very detailed and fascinating to listen to. I hope he is able to write a book someday. It would instantly become the definitive history of the band from that time period. Alice Cooper is one of my all-time favorite bands. 'School's Out' was the very first 45 I ever bought in my early teenage years. I still have the original vinyl single in my collection."

2011 has been a busy year for Neal Smith. The drummer and founding member of Alice Cooper – one of the most influential and popular American rock bands of the seventies – was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of that band back in March of this year. Neal was then invited to perform live with original Alice Cooper band members at Revolver magazine’s Golden Gods Awards ceremony and, later, the band filmed a groundbreaking holographic live video for the Jagermeister brand. Neal also co-wrote the hit single, 'I’ll Bite Your Face Off' from Cooper’s most recent solo album Welcome 2 My Nightmare. Now, Neal has another project to slap his name on, his latest CD, KillSmith Two, released in October on Smith's Kachina Records label.

Having been a couple of years in the making, KillSmith Two is the much anticipated follow up to Neal’s wildly popular 2008 release, KillSmith: Sexual Savior. While KillSmith Two continues to explore Neal’s agro side, with many of its songs flaunting an industrial-metal sound, Neal calls KillSmith Two more radio friendly than Sexual Savior.

"I think it’s the best writing I’ve ever done with industrial strength music", says Smith. "The fourth song on the KillSmith Two CD is called 'Evil Voodoo Moon'. It is the song that’s the mother of Alice’s latest single called 'I’ll Bite Your Face Off', featured on his great new CD Welcome 2 My Nightmare. One of the main goals I had in mind while writing KillSmith Two was to keep my lyrics radio friendly this time. My colorful vocabulary could make a drunken sailor blush. So I took it back a few notches for airplay, something I didn’t do on my first Killsmith CD Sexual Savoir when I just let all hell break loose. Heavy industrial guitars are still the heart of the KillSmith sound along with my pounding drums.

"The two man core of KillSmith remains the same, myself on drums, rhythm guitar and lead vocals and Peter Catucci on bass guitar and supporting vocals. Guest musicians included Bryan Morrell, one of the young lead guitar veterans from my first KillSmith album Sexual Savior. Bryan joined me again for two songs on the new KillSmith Two album, 'Suicide Highway' and 'Cemetery Of The Damned (23)'. Lead guitar for the rest of my new album was in the capable hands of two long time friends, the incredibly talented Kevin Franklin and Doug Wahlberg. All three guitarists Doug, Kevin and Bryan did an great job raising the musical level of KillSmith Two. And last but not least, the amazing Pete “Keys” Hickey playing keyboards.”

KillSmith Two is now available and each disc comes autographed personally by Neal. You can order a copy at Neal Smith Rocks Online Store (http://nealsmithrocks.com/store). Neal and the KillSmith band have been in rehearsals and hope to perform some live shows early in 2012.
