PICA FIERCE Win Norwegian Wacken Metal Battle

Norwegian thrash/death metal band PICA FIERCE won the Norwegian Wacken Metal Battle final on Friday night (May 9th). The competition was held in Trondheim and represented five of the most promising bands in the Norwegian metal-scene today. The winner, Pica Fierce, gets to play at the Wacken Open Air Festival that is being held from July 31st through August 2nd in Germany. It's considered to be the biggest metal festival in the world. Pica Fierce released their self-titled debut-album last December. Check out their MySpace page for more information.
