July 5, 2012, 11 years ago
The PINK FLOYD The Wall movie retrospective exhibition is being staged at Blackall Studios in Shoreditch, London, from July 13th - 18th, and reveals a range of absorbing, behind the scenes pictures taken by David Appleby, the on-set photographer on the production.
Curated to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film, the exhibition features David’s most iconic on set images which have never been seen before. Over 40 black and white images will be showcased, traditionally hand printed by dish on silver gelatine from the original negatives by Tara Renee of Silverbase at Film Solutions Photographic Centre Pinewood Studios.
The launch evening will also feature a special fundraising auction for MediCinema, a film industry charity that installs and manages cinemas in hospitals and places of care around the UK.
The exhibition opens to the public from July 13th – 18th, at Blackall Studios in Shoreditch.
