Producer Kevin Shirley Auctioning Off Rare IRON MAIDEN Photograph For Charity
February 16, 2008, 16 years ago
Producer/sound engineer Kevin Shirley (LED ZEPPELIN, IRON MAIDEN, AEROSMITH) has issued the following update:
"Iron Maiden fans. Every year I do a bicycle ride for charity. An English charity called Mencap which is the UK's leading learning disability charity working with people with a learning disability and their families and carers. This year the bike ride is through Nepal - and I pay ALL my own costs, accommodation and flights. Now, I have a very big original photograph (left), poster sized, framed and hand signed and numbered by Ross Halfin - numbered 1/25, which I am going to ask Steve Harris to sign and then going to auction it off next week, for the charity. Every cent will go to the charity and I will pay for the shipping. Anyone interested? I will post a photograph of the actual framed and autographed picture once it is done. Starting bid is $1,000. Not bad when the print cost that alone and then the framing was $250. email me kevthecave@gmail.com if you're interested, and spread the word. Let's see what we can get for the charity."
