Producer Kevin Shirley - The New JOURNEY Songs "Are Outstanding"

Producer/sound engineer Kevin Shirley (LED ZEPPELIN, IRON MAIDEN, AEROSMITH) has issued the following update:
"Just got back from Vegas last night, after mixing seven new Journey songs. They are outstanding. For the record, I think Arnel (Pineda - new singer) is 'the business!' The guy can really sing! He handles the ballads with SO much heart, and belts the rockers as hard, and melodically, as anyone I have heard. The songs are sensational - wonderfully crafted and deep, and so focused, you may wonder where they all came from. And I'm being serious....... Off to the airport again.... to London to see Zep."Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums) - announced to fans all over the world on December 5th that Arnel Pineda (“pin-eh-da”) was the official replacement for Jeff Scott Soto, who parted ways with the band earlier this year after stepping in for Steve Augeri, who had to leave the band in 2006 for medical reasons.
