PYRAMAZE Members Comment As Matt Barlow Begins Recording Vocals For Band's New Album
February 21, 2008, 16 years ago
Vocalist Matt Barlow (ICED EARTH) has begun recording vocals for the new PYRAMAZE album, Immortal.
The following are a couple of comments regarding the sessions, from members of Pyramaze:
Jonah Weingarten (keyboards): " Vocals are coming along awesome guys and gals. Just heard a tune... brought tears to my eyes. Amazing! Matt is singing with so much emotion, it's just awesome."
Michael Kammeyer (guitars): "Hey Pyrawarriors!
I promise you there will be a sound clip up before the end of March (which is long before the album hits the stores). Your waiting will be rewarded. Matt's got 5 songs down so far - and I tell you, it sounds awesome! When I said that Matt was the perfect fit for us, that was the understatement of the year!"
As previously reported, the sessions are being produced by Jim Morris. The new album will be mixed in March, under the guidance of producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, MERCENARY).
Stay tuned for further updates on Immortal (artwork pictured) as information surfaces.
