QUEEN - We Will Rock You Coming Soon To Vienna

According to QUEEN guitarist Brian May's website, Kathrin Zechner, artistic and business director of Vereinigten Bühnen Wien, and Michael Brenner, together with Queen Theatrical Productions, Phil McIntyre Entertainments and Tribeca Theatrical Productions, will bring the highly successful production from the London West End to Vienna.
The premiere will be at the Raimund Theater on January 24, 2008.
VBW in collaboration with WWRY GMBH will present this sensational show in its original version performed by the first team in London – with QUEEN musician Brian May and Roger Taylor, theatre director and highly successful author Ben Elton, set designer Mark Fischer as well as the professed Queen fan Robert De Niro. In Vienna, a German version of the show modelled on the London production (with song lyrics mostly in English) will be performed until July 13, 2008.
The subsequent production for the Raimund Theater, the planned Ronacher mobile projects for 2008, and the premiere at the Ronacher Theater, will be introduced by artistic and business director Zechner during her annual preview press conference in June 2007.
