RAGE Guitarist Victor Smolski On 70000 Tons Of Metal - "I Couldn't Imagine That This Event Would Become The Best Rock Festival I Have Seen Since Many, Many Years"

RAGE guitarist Victor Smolski has checked in with the following update:
"First of all I want to say thanks for all the birthday greetings, nice to get so many good wishes. I have plenty of news from my trip to USA, which was the best and most interesting journey during last 5 years.The first days I was guest at the NAMM show in Anaheim, the worldwide biggest music fair. Not only all the instruments and newest equipment are available, it's also a point of meeting for international artists / musicians. Furthermore the world premiere of the Victor Smolski Signiture Amp of ENGL took part there, a real exciting moment among illustrious society at the meet & greet and add-on jam session at the ENGL booth.
There was time for vacation, sightseeing and parties. In Las Vegas I have made the nights of it together with friends.
After the fantastic days of vacation, work was scheduled again. The luxus liner Majesty Of The Seas was waiting for us, 39 other metal bands and 2000 fans at the habour of Florida. I couldn't imagine that this event will become the best rock festival I have seen since many, many years. Great feeling to jump into the pool directly after the soundcheck. No VIP area, fans and musicians are moving at the same level and have lot's of fun together.
Furthermore I can't remember myself when I saw soooo many beautiful girls last time. Apropos 'work': the two Rage concerts, my solo show and the two hours of sleep at night were just a short break of a mega hot party on board!! Hopefully they are going to repeat this event - I will be there again."
