February 14, 2011, 13 years ago
REVERENCE, the new Detroit, Michigan-based power metal band featuring vocalist Todd Michael Hall (JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR, HARLET), guitarist Bryan Holland (TOKYO BLADE, ARREST), drummer Steve "Dr. Killdrums" Wacholz (SAVATAGE, CRIMSON GLORY) and bassist Frank Saparti (Tokyo Blade, OVERLOADED, MINDCANDY) have issued the following update:
"As we near the end of the writing stage for our new album, we knew we would need to add an additional guitarist to the lineup, the music calls for two guitarists with a lot of harmony leads and thick riffs, a second guitarist is a must. Pete Rossi, a native of Pittsburgh has joined the ranks as second lead guitarist."Comments Holland: "Having previously played in another project with Doc, Pete came to the rest of us with high regards and was the only guitarist we approached to join the band. He is a shredding monster and a great performer on stage, we're really looking forward to the fall Euro tour to tearing up the song."
Recording will begin in April at Sight 16 Studios (Tokyo Blade, TWOTHIRTYSEVEN, PARIS BLUE, COLDSNAP) in Albuquerque, New Mexico with producer Sid Garcia. The band will record 14 songs for the CD, which will be mixed and mastered in May for a tentative fall 2011 release through Razar Ice Records. A fall European tour will follow. The band has also signed on with No-Nonsense Management and Booking.
