RISE TO ADDICTION Bassist: "2006 Has Been One Of The Greatest Years I Can Ever Recall"
December 21, 2006, 18 years ago
Brit rockers RISE TO ADDICTION who feature former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar), have issued the following update from bassist Joel Graham:
"Well... it's that time of year again folks, I'm sure like ourselves you're ready to loosen up for plenty of festive shenanigans over the Xmas and New Year holidays. It's been a fantastic year for us, and 2007 is scheduled to be just as good...Personally for myself, 2006 has been one of the greatest years I can ever recall. Just months after moving back to the UK from Canada, I was thrust into the 'Bass Place' for RTA for a couple of December '05 shows, then asked to join the band full time February '06.
Almost a year down the line with RTA, I have had the opportunity to play some amazing shows and meet all you guys who constantly support what we are about. Thank you.
Not only that, but I got to dress as Joey Demaio from MANOWAR, kicked PETER CRISS and ACE FREHLEY's asses at table football... oh, and recorded a f**king fantastic album that we PROMISE you will be able to hear early in the new year...
So, more of the same next year? We are certainly up for it! See you all in 2007!
So until then, from myself and the rest of the RTA guys, have a great Xmas and enjoy the holiday celebrations."
