March 27, 2007, 17 years ago
UK metallers RISE TO ADDICTION will hold an informal listening party for friends and fans at their favourite boozer, The Old Turk in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, on Saturday, May 12th.
Leigh (Oates - vocals) explains:
"Believe it or not we started writing our second album at the weekend! That’s when it hit us that we haven't even had chance to sit around with a few beers and properly celebrate finishing the first one."Elaborates Ayns (Dickinson - drums):
"We had a great time making the record and there were also some stressful times. We always said we'd get together once it was finished and celebrate in fine style with a beverage or two; this little soiree just grew from there really. AND there’ll be a BBQ too!!According to a band update, "The party starts at 7.00pm (till late!), A New Shade Of Black For The Soul will be played in its entirety and the band will be on hand to sign advanced individually numbered copies of the album. New merchandise will also be available."
As previously reported, A New Shade Of Black For The Soul, is due out through Mausoleum Records on May 21st. Click links to hear the following tracks: 'Falling As One', 'I Follow', 'One Sweet Minute'.
