German metallers ROUGH SILK have announced that their new album, The good, The bad & The undead, will not be released this month. The band posted the following on their website:

“Unfortunately we have some bad news for those of you who are interested in our work, Due to "business-reasons" the new Rough Silk-album, The good, The bad & The undead, will not be released this March on Icewarrior/Rock It Up Records as announced before. We are looking for a new deal at the moment - sorry!

We are really happy with the album and hope you will like it, too. Because we always tried and will always try to avoid clichés and write songs that are not so easy to categorize it may take some time - but we're pretty sure we´ll get it out later this year.

We´ll keep you updated.”

The Good, The Bad & The Undead is the band's follow-up to their 2009 album A New Beginning (Dockyard 1 Records).

Album artwork can be viewed below:

As previously reported, Rough Silk will play an unplugged gig at the Anno in Stadthagen, Germany on March 19th. As well, keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Ferdy Doernberg will perform a set of his "singer-/songwriter" material that evening.
