German metal legends RUNNING WILD have issued the following update:

"We are proud to reveal the amazing front cover artwork of ReUnation - A Tribute To Running Wild, which was designed by acclaimed artist Costin Chioreanu.

Commented Chioreanu: "I am deeply honored to work for such a big Heavy Metal legend as Running Wild. I know this is just a tribute-album, not a brand-new studio release, but its role is quite important in my opinion. Running Wild was and still is a crucial influence for generations of Heavy Metal bands, so I think it's very interesting too see how the young blood interprets in their very own way the songs of this legend.

I know that on the last four Running Wild albums the lyrical themes were a bit different than on the older ones, thay were centered more around the political and social side of life and that's why I wanted from the first place to build up something that should look somehow political, but keeping also the old atmosphere of Running Wild's image. Adrian, their mascot ever since, is now the symbol of the revolt with some damaged flags without identity behind him. He destroys the chessboard where some characters are ruling their game. Right behind Adrian there is a chest full of other pieces, kinda removed from the board from the first place. Maybe some of the fans will recognize some of them... I didn't want to make it very explicit. I felt also that I had to get Adrian older but keeping also his dark and rebel look. I think this artwork speaks by itself regarding the title: ReUnation - It's something like to reunite the differences by destroying who unite them as similarities."

There are also some more bands who will participate in this project and who we would like to reveal now: 5TH SONIC BRIGADE (Sweden), SUIDAKRA (Germany), WARHEAD (Germany), WILD KNIGHT (United Kingdom / Germany)/

5TH Sonic Brigade, by the way, features Marcus Öhrn (ex-NOICE), Richard Evenlind (ex-Noice), Peter Samuelsson (ex-NIFTERS) and Henry Ranta (ex-SOILWORK).

Suidakra just released their ninth album, Crógacht, which received overwhelming reviews all over the world and are currently touring the U.S. together with ALESTORM and TÝR.

Warhead are currently working on their follow-up to Captured, which earned quite remarkable reviews in Germany's Metal-Media.

Wild Knight marks the return of Frank Knight (X-WILD) and features Majk Moti (ex-Running Wild).
