According to Rushisaband.com , the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame website has added video of RUSH’s Canadian Songwriters Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, which took place March 28th 2010, to their website.

Included are the 15-minute video of Dave Bidini's introduction of the band where he reads from his book For Those About The Rock, along with Rush's acceptance of the award and drummer Neil Peart's speech. There's also Jacob Moon's performance of ‘Subdivisions’, Les Claypool's performance of ‘The Spirit Of Radio’ and ALEXIS ON FIRE's performance of ‘Tom Sawyer’. It should be noted that Alexis on Fire's performance had not been included in the original CBC broadcast due to technical issues, so this is the first time it's seen the light of day.

Rush recently completed the songwriting and arranging for the album, Clockwork Angels, that the band started in late 2009. The band's production team of Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, STONE SOUR) and engineer Richard Chycki (AEROSMITH, DREAM THEATER) have putting the finishes to the follow-up to 2007's Snakes And Arrows in Los Angeles with a projected release date of early spring with a tour to follow in November.

Rush recently suffered the tragic loss of famed entertainment photographer and video director Andrew MacNaughtan, who has worked with the band since the mid-80s and was in Los Angeles shooting the members of Rush for the upcoming album.
