RUSH - Two Digital-Only Collections Coming In May; Details Revealed, Pre-Orders Launched

Two new digital-only RUSH collections, entitled The Complete Mercury Years and The Studio Albums 1989-2007, will be released via iTunes on May 14th.

The Complete Mercury Years will contain Rush's complete Mercury catalog (all their albums up through A Show Of Hands) for $79.99, including the new 2112 Deluxe Edition and the 2008 Working Man compilation.

Rush: The Studio Albums 1989-2007 will contain the entire Atlantic-era Rush studio catalog (Presto through Snakes & Arrows) for $49.99. Both collections are digital only and mastered for iTunes.

Last weekend, The Canadian Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences (CARAS) awarded RUSH the 2013 JUNO Award for Rock Album Of The Year, for their latest studio album, Clockwork Angels.

Rush tribute website Cygnus-X1 posted an extensive photo gallery covering the band's long awaited induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on April 18th. Check it out at this location.

Rush led the inductees into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins of FOO FIGHTERS inducted them in. In tribute to the legendary prog-rock trio, Grohl and Hawkins performed RUSH's classic '2112 Overture' in the band's vintage garb! Fan-filmed footage can be viewed below:

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony will broadcast on HBO on Saturday, May 18th at 9 PM, ET/PT.

In honor of Rush's induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the April 20th edition of Hockey Night In Canada (between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Ottawa Senators) featured the band's classic 'Limelight' and a mix of footage from Leaf games and the band.
