SACRED REICH Cancel Appearance At D-Low Memorial Show
August 29, 2007, 17 years ago
Reunited Arizona thrashers SACRED REICH have issued the following:
"We regretfully have to cancel our appearance at the D-Low Memorial Show on Friday. (Guitarist) Wiley (Arnett) wrecked his dirt bike while out riding and broke a few ribs. He's doing well but is unable to perform this weekend. We apologize to anyone looking forward to seeing us play, and we are dissapointed that we will not be part of the show. We were happy to have the opportunity to pay our musical respects to Dana.
Hopefully we can be part of next years bill and play a full set for Dana."
Featuring SOULFLY, CAR BOMB, SIOP, HERE LIES TREACHERY and TALE OF A MASSACRE, the show is scheduled for August 31st at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona.
The D-Low Memorial Festival is a special event every year; in recent years, the show has been filmed for Soulfly's The Song Remains Insane DVD release, and last year Igor Cavalera joined Soulfly on stage for the first time ever - reuniting Max and his brother to make music again. There's no telling what's in store for this year's festival, but it promises to be brutal.
