British metal legends SAXON have announced a pair of Sidewave shows in Australia with openers THE SWORD. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 28 at 9AM for the following dates:

1 - Sydney, Australia - Manning BarSaxon and The Sword are part of the 2011 edition of Australia's Soundwave festival are set to take place in late February/early March. Headliners this year include IRON MAIDEN, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and DIMMU BORGIR.
