September 4, 2009, 15 years ago
Swedish metallers SCARPOINT recently entered Stockholm's Fear & Loathing Studio (owned by members of MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER) to begin recording their as-yet-untitled second album. Produced by Jocke Skog of CLAWFINGER and SCARPOINT, the CD is tentatively due in early 2010.
A new studio update from drummer Eric Thyselius reads:
"Today we finished the recording of the drums. Jocke is now editing all the drum tracks and tomorrow we'll head back and take a listen to the drums and see if everything is ok.I can honestly say that this is by far the coolest and best record I've ever recorded. And once again I have say that I've never had so much fun during the recording, we laugh all the time and it's the truth. This is my fourth record with Jocke Skog and I've never has so much fun! We've filmed loads of stuff so you'll see later on what I'm talking about!
Zoran started tracking guitars, the guitar sound is MASSIVE!! Fuck me it sound awesome!! Chris has started warming up and will start tracking bass Monday or Tuesday.
So tomorrow, it your in Stockholm and wants to party and check out the studio, contact us and we'll work it out!"
