hot flashes news scarpoint

Swedish metallers SCARPOINT recently entered Stockholm's Fear & Loathing Studio (owned by members of MESHUGGAH and CLAWFINGER) to begin recording their as-yet-untitled second album.

Produced by Jocke Skog of CLAWFINGER and SCARPOINT, the CD is tentatively due in early 2010.

A new studio update from drummer Eric Thyselius reads:

"Today was not a good day in the studio. Unfourtnately the Windows XP that they used crashed, we have not lost any material or tracks, but we hade to install the whole kabang and that took several hours. So I was not able to record anything. Now everything is back in business and we plan to record the last 2 drum tracks tomorrow.

The last song is gonna be a real challenge since it was written last Sunday, the day before we entered the studio. It's gonna be fun to record it, my experience tells me that it will one of the best drums tracks since it will contain 100% spontaneous drumming. We've also set up a guitar station so that Zoran can start tracking the guitars, which he will do tomorrow.

Saturday will be the last day of this recording week, will finish the editing of the drums and then we will throw a big party for all of our friends, so if you're in Stockholm let us know and we'll invite you to a visit in the awesome Fear & Loathing studio!!

Until then, stay twisted fuckers!!!"
