The first hour of the show features a Scorpions special in which the band’s vocalist Klaus Meine talks extensively about their new MTV Unplugged In Athens CD, DVD and Blu Ray. Klaus selects eight tracks from the album, and gives an in-depth insight into how the band put the 24 song set list together for the show, covering material from every era of their career, along with five new compositions. Klaus also talks about the band’s longevity, and their desire to play in the UK one last time before their farewell tour concludes.
In part 2, Angelica Rylin (The Murder Of My Sweet) talks about her debut solo release Thrive, which sees her fulfilling her childhood dream of making a melodic mock album, inspired by some of her favourite vocalists, including Robin Beck, Ann Wilson of HEART, Leigh Matty (ROMEO'S DAUGHTER). Angelica discusses the songwriting process for the album, which featured contributions from melodic rock luminaries such as Harry Hess, Daniel Flores, Robert Sall, Alessandro Del Vecchio and Anders Wigelius, and chooses two tracks.
