On September 26th, vocalist SEBASTIAN BACH hit the stage with SIN CITY SINNERS in Las Vegas, NV at Vinyl in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Fan-filmed video of the band performing FASTER PUSSYCAT's 'Bathroom Wall' and JOURNEY's 'Don't Stop Believin' is available below:
Bach recently parted ways with guitarist Nick Sterling and introduced LA-based Jeff George as Sterling's replacement. George made his live debut with Bach on Friday, September 28th in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Casino Nova Scotia. Fan-filmed video from the gig is available below:
Bach recently spoke with Amber Lee at Wisconsin rock radio station 93 Rock about the "contractual issues" as cited by guitarist Nick Sterling via a Facebook post that prevented him from performing with Bach's band. The interview is available via the audio player below, with Bach explaining his side of the story behind Sterling's absence on stage.
An excerpt from the interview is as follows:
"We did a big broadcast on AXS TV that we worked really, really hard on. It was a very big deal that we were on television from coast to coast all across the United States of America. Everybody that was involved in the broadcast had to sign a release so we could film it and they would agree to be part of the broadcast and the DVD coming out. Everybody signed it. I talked to Nick two days before the show and he still hadn't signed it. And I'm like, 'Dude, we're filming this in two days. You have to sign this.' And he guaranteed to me on the phone that he would sign it and be a part of it, and then when we got to soundcheck, he wouldn't sign the release. So we could not film the show with him; he wouldn't let us. He wanted all these sorts of demands that nobody else in the band wanted that were completely unreasonable. If someone is not happy in my band, I will be the first one to show them the door and say, 'Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out. If you're not happy and you're not part of the team and you're not interested in being successful or being professional, then get out of my band.' I've been doing this for 25-30 years and all I ask is that somebody is a professional in my band and has it together on stage and doesn't wreck it for the rest of us, which is what he did in L.A. the other day."
As previously reported, Bach had been scheduled to play a show in Toronto, ON, on September 30th at The Rockpile. BraveWords.com has learned that show has now been cancelled. No reason - official or otherwise - has been given. Ticket refunds will be issued.
