SEVENDUST Guitarist CLINT LOWERY - "I’ve Written Enough Music To Do Two More Solo Records"
January 17, 2022, 2 years ago
Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery has checked in with the following update:
"Hello All,
Was sitting here thinking, about things. Timelines, what’s next on releases, where the priorities are at the moment.
First off, I’ve written enough music to do two more solo records but still trying to decide the direction I want to go. As much as I loved doing God Bless the Renegades and was the record I needed to make at the time I suppose…I want to challenge myself. I want to truly touch on some new ground and push myself. So I’ll keep developing that.
In the meantime Sevendust is coming back on deck and we are beginning to accumulate some material for a new record and I’m very fired up about this as well. It’s time to grow there as well, to challenge ourselves more than we have in a long time.
Both 7d and my solo releases mean everything to me. I hate waiting to record, to release music, I want to move this faster. It’s my favorite part about being a musician/artist. To release music and escape in the process. So send some positive vibes that we get the ball rolling soon and set the stage to make some game changing music.
Who knows how long this game will go…but for now let’s work!!!
Your long winded friend,
CL"
