New England-based metallers SHADOWS FALL have released their new video, for the track 'Still I Rise'. Check it out below.

Says the band, "We met up with director Zach Merck and his film crew at the Affliction Clothing warehouse in southern California to film this video. The folks at Affliction were cool enough to have some of their MMA fighters and ring girls come down and allow us to shoot them in action. We had a ton who went bonkers and made the video look great. Thanks to all of them, the fighters, Affliction and Zach and company for making it such a great day."

The band's new song, 'King Of Nothing', is now available for free download via Microsoft Windows Myspace. Go to this location to get the track. Offer end Wednesday, August 5th.

As previously reported, singer Brian Fair recently commented on the track: “This song opens with my favorite riff on the record. It came out of Matt’s late night drunken riff bag, and the song built itself around the heavy vibe that it created. It is a four minute beat down!! The lyrics of this song are about the overwhelming self-medication of our world. There is a prescription for every mood these days, and people are turning into zombies. It's time to toughen up and face your reality, no matter how brutal it may be, otherwise you will just be reigning over a world of nothingness. The bridge features guest vocals from the one and only D. Randall Blythe aka Uncle Goddamn aka The Redneck Assassin of the mighty Lamb of God. Randy came down to the studio in VA to cook us dinner, and we put him right to work behind the mic. We layered his voice with Matt’s and myself to create the three part harmony from hell!!”

Starting August 17th, the band's new video, 'Still I Rise', will be available exclusively on Music Choice, the award winning, multi-platform music network.

'Still I Rise' is the first video from Retribution. The video was shot by longtime Shadows Fall director Zack Merck at the Affliction warehouse in southern California, and was shot in the ring with actual Affliction fighters! Fans were invited to come down and rock out, and they received a special place as extras in the video.

Vocalist Brian Fair commented on the video: “We are all very excited about the upcoming debut of the video for ‘Still I Rise’, the first single from our new album, Retribution. About a month ago, we meet up with director Zach Merck and his film crew at the Affliction Clothing warehouse in southern California. The folks at Affliction were cool enough to have some of their MMA fighters and ring girls come down and allow us to shoot them in action in their cage while extras we had invited were all around them going insane. Even Basko got in on the action for a quick cameo. We then ran through a bunch of takes of the song with the fans up close, including full circle pits around the band. It looks amazing and draws a cool parallel between the aggression of a cage fight and the fury of a metal show. Thanks to all the extras, the fighters, Affliction and Zach and company for making it such a great day.”

Spinefarm Records UK will be releasing Retribution on September 14th. The album will be issued a day later (September 15th) in North America on the band’s own label, Everblack Industries, which was created in conjunction with Warner Music Group’s ILG, Ferret Music, and ChannelZERO Entertainment.

The new album was produced by Zeuss (HATEBREED, MUNICIPAL WASTE), with vocal production by Elvis Baskette (INCUBUS, ALTER BRIDGE).

Retribution track list: 'The Path To Imminent Ruin', 'My Demise', 'Still I Rise', 'War', 'King Of Nothing', 'The Taste Of Fear', 'Embrace Annihilation', 'Picture Perfect', 'A Public Execution', 'Dead And Gone'.
