Tune in to Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal channel Thursday at 3 PM (ET) to hear tour creator Kevin Lyman and SLAYER’s Kerry King make the official lineup announcement for this summer’s Mayhem Festival.
"The yearly metallic event brings together the best bands and fans from the world of heavy metal and this year’s lineup is sick as hell! You’ll hear music from the bands on Mayhem ’09 and get an update on the almighty Slayer from the mouth of madness himself Kerry “F’in” King! Exclusively on Sirius XM!"As previously reported, according to RevolverMag.com, this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival tour "boasts a Hot Topic Stage manned by WHITECHAPEL, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, JOB FOR A COWBOY, BEHEMOTH and CANNIBAL CORPSE, and a Jägermeister Stage with GOD FORBID, ALL THAT REMAINS and TRIVIUM. Add a Main Stage featuring BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, SLAYER and MARILYN MANSON, and this looks to be a sequel of Godfather II proportions."
