After an absence of more than two decades, vocalist Leather Leone will be featured in a WVOX live interview this Friday, May 25th at 8:30 PM EST, exclusively on 1460 AM and WVOX.com worldwide. The world-reknowned vocalist will talk with jock Matt O'Shaughnessy about her new SLEDGE LEATHER project which also features Sledge on drums and piano, Matthias Weisheit on guitars, Scott Warren on keyboards and Jimmy Bain on bass. The band's new album, Imagine Me Alive, was recorded in 2011 and according to Leather, "It's great for me to finally have a huge say in what's written and how it's written. With Sledge, I feel like I am writing with a soulmate, same beliefs, same ideas - because we all are writing what comes to us naturally and what comes to us naturally is heavy music.".
Then at 9:30 PM, WVOX unleashes from the gutters of New York City, the Big Apple's latest cutting edge Rock band, ATTENTION DEFICIT SOCIETY (ADS). Gritty like their home town, these rockers combine attitude, emotion, and raw sonic power into a perfect alt. metal stew with catchy melodies layered over driving rhythm and thick guitars. While finishing up their debut record at Prime Time Studios, MT. Vernon N.Y., the band has decided to release a three song Promotional Package on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Reverbnation, and the rest of the usual digital download sites. Some of the bands music is also featured on the late night FOX News TV show, Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld. Together with the help of some pretty well known friends, the band plans to produce a product rock fans everywhere will enjoy.
