As previously reported, key Toronto metal figure Adrian 'The Energizer' Bromley passed away in his sleep on December 7th, 2008 at the age of 37. SOILWORK and THE GATHERING have issued the following tributes to Adrian:

Soilwork

"It is with sadness that we say farewell to Adrian 'The Energizer' Bromley, famed editor of Unrestrained! Mag, long time metal activist and Soilwork supporter, among countless other bands. Adrian's untimely passing is a shock to us all. He was only 37. Adrian was present at our most recent NYC listening session and can be seen - smiling as usual - on the following pictures from that night: Adrian1 -

The Gathering

"On December 7th Adrian Bromley, former promoter at The End Records, passed away. He was 37 years old. Adrian was a very nice, positive guy, always looking at things from the bright side. He stood very close to The Gathering and always was a helpful hand. He will be missed. We wish his family and friends a lot of strength."
